Origami Crane and Onigiri Making Experience
First, we will fold origami cranes. During this time, you will hear the story of Sadako Sasaki, a girl who was exposed to the atomic bomb at the age of two and later developed leukemia. She believed that folding 1,000 paper cranes would grant her wish for recovery and continued folding cranes until the end. Her story is a symbol of hope and peace. Afterward, we will make onigiri (rice balls). While we use some local ingredients when possible, we also provide a variety of fillings for you to choose from. Enjoy your handmade onigiri with miso soup.
