Ferry Ride to Ninoshima
Enjoy a relaxing 40-minute ferry ride across the calm Seto Inland Sea. Take in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding islands and Hiroshima Bay.

Arrive at the Experience House in Ninoshima
Arrive at a house on the island, personally rented by your guide for this experience. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere as you prepare for the activities.

Origami Crane and Onigiri Making Experience
First, we will fold origami cranes. During this time, you will hear the story of Sadako Sasaki, a girl who was exposed to the atomic bomb at the age of two and later developed leukemia. She believed that folding 1,000 paper cranes would grant her wish for recovery and continued folding cranes until the end. Her story is a symbol of hope and peace. Afterward, we will make onigiri (rice balls). While we use some local ingredients when possible, we also provide a variety of fillings for you to choose from. Enjoy your handmade onigiri with miso soup.

Ferry Ride Back to Hiroshima Port
After completing the experience on Ninoshima, take the ferry back to Hiroshima Port.

We will now visit places that tell the story of Hiroshima’s history and its wish for peace.

Visit the Hypocenter
Visit the site where the atomic bomb was dropped. Your guide will explain the historical significance and the impact of the bombing on Hiroshima.

Peace Memorial Park Visit
Explore Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and visit key sites: Atomic Bomb Dome: A preserved structure from the bombing, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rest House: A building near the hypocenter that still retains traces of the bombing. Children’s Peace Monument: Here, we will offer the origami cranes made on Ninoshima as a symbol of peace. Memorial Cenotaph: A monument dedicated to all atomic bomb victims.
